Something Borrowed

Finally time for something borrowed ... borrowed time. Save the Dates are almost a given these days with all of the busy guest lists and exclusive destinations. They precede the passport to one of the most special days in our lives. They must not outshine, but give only a hint of what is to come.

Something Blue

I'm going to have to skip "something borrowed" for now. Because this is just too good.
These clients are just a true joy to work with. We finish each other's sentences and trust one another. These are the kinds of relationships that keep me loving what I do. Not to mention, their invitations are undeniably gorgeous!
A delightful deep midnight blue with vintage floral illustration ... and just wait until you see the programs and escort cards.
There is a lot more to come highlighting this bride's style – so clever and elegant all at the very same time.

Something New

Olde World meets Modern Pop! Probably my favorite wedding invitation of the summer, though the wedding isn't actually until November 1 - in St. John - how fabulous is that?? I LOVE doing custom maps!
This invitation was custom all the way. I duplexed
lime green and Caribbean blue papers and made a folder to hold all of the pieces, pressed the invitation with blind embossed tall, thin palms, designed icons for the intricate travel information, sealed each one with a custom compass wax seal and satin ribbon, and put it all together in a luscious orange square envelope.

Something Old

Back in the spring, I visited my Granny at her cabin in South Carolina. My mom brought this huge box of family photos and keepsakes and we stayed up late and thumbed through it all. I was thrilled to find several wedding invitations amongst the pile and never before would I have marveled over their printing method, paper folds and font choice ... until now that it is my business. They are so simply beautiful.
